Style | Dressing Down a Tulle Skirt
Every time I look at any of these photos Jen and I took while I was in Utah I have to smile. I'm reminded of the laughs we had and the sleep we missed. I'm so glad Utah is just a quick plane ride away. If she had to move away at least it's to the home of Swig and Waffluv.
When I was putting this outfit together I originally wore the chambray shirt with the tee. I tried to button it, tie it and leave it open. Something just wasn't right. The thought popped into my head to tie it around my waist and suddenly it all came together. I love the formality of the tulle mixed with the casualness of the denim tied around the waist, just the right amount of fun and fancy!
Considering I was going to a conference with 500 other strangers this Shop & Apparel top was the perfect ice breaker. The fit is great and you gotta love a tee this soft! Can we also talk about the feeling of finding the PERFECT Chambray shirt for just a sec?! I have been searching high and low, literally. This one legit takes the cake. It's super soft, I could totally sleep in it and the cut is ultra flattering. Go, grab one, now! There is a reason it's called the 24/7 shirt people.
I got this necklace from Mindy Mae's Market last year when I went to Snap Conference and I am wearing it constantly. I have a version from another store, but it's so light that it just flips around. Not this bad boy, it's sturdy and gorgeous! It also pairs nicely with this Rock Candy bracelet from Metal Marvels.
Adoring this messy braided do from my girl Emma, she can rock the perfectly messy look like no one else.
I could gush about how Jen from Classy Cosmetics is like an eyebrow ninja all day. I keep trying to recreate the magic, but alas...she is the master.
