Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Steamer Copycat
I feel bad complaining about our weather here in California, especially since we spent a lovely afternoon on Friday watching the Huntington Beach Air Show while playing in the waves, but dang it! I just want to wear my Fall wardrobe and drink Pumpkin Spice Steamers from Starbucks. Is that too much to ask California?!
We've had a handful of days in the 70s so you can bet I run for my boots any chance I can get. I mean, these over the knee boots have been under my bed since the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale MONTHS ago. It was like Christmas when we had a random cloudy day last week and I got to wear them for the first time. Chambray is my favorite color for Fall or any season really so I was excited to put these matching outfits together for Dylan and I. This dress was under $20! I've linked everything below.
I have a hard time finding any reason to be grateful for Kim Kardashian's contribution to society, there is really only 1 thing I can think of. She is responsible for bring the black choker back from the 90s and I for one will forever be grateful. I kind of love how delicate and understated this one is.
I purchased this suede inset black fold over clutch a couple weeks ago and fell in love with this darling print on the inside. Plus, you can fit a ton of stuff in there and it matches my highly favored over the knee boots.
Now back to my beloved Pumpkin Spice Steamer. Not being a coffee drinker can be a little lonely. I mean what do you order at Starbucks during the Fall if you aren't ordering a PSL? Is there anything else?! Turns out there is! The Pumpkin Spice Steamer is oh so warm and delicious and fills that Pumpkin Spice need.
I don't always have time to run out to get one so I came up with an amazing copycat recipe that could pass any blind taste test! It's super easy to throw together, even quicker that professionals. To complete the authentic barista experience I keep Dixie® To Go cups on hand. I can take them with me when I lose track of time and have to rush out for school pick up and I can just toss them when my kids have confiscated the last bit of Pumpkin Spice goodness. Ugh, who wants to do dishes if they don't have to right?! I have more important things to spend time doing. The leak-resistant lid & insulated layer give me peace of mind and allows me to enjoy my hot beverage confidently.
