What I Wore: Bring on The Brite
I'm a little bit Bi-Polar when it comes to my wardrobe. I either love all black or something bright neon. The way you dress can do a lot for your mood and the fact that neon has been big the past season makes me very happy. You just can't be grumpy in neon yellow, it's not possible. I got a sneak peek at a Spring/Summer 2015 clothing line and I'm so excited to report that neon isn't going anywhere anytime soon. It's still big for next year so when I saw this neon yellow striped tee at Target on clearance I snatched it up. It's a little hard to see the coloring because of the lighting, but it's the perfect combo of clean, crisp white and bright yellow.
Full Disclosure: These photos were taken with my Gorillapod set up on our trash can and Dylan standing on a toddler chair snapping them with a remote. He was so so excited to help me and it's evident in this shot he captured. This boy is PURE joy!
Cardigan: Old Navy / Tee and Wedges: Target / Skirt: Down East Basics / Belt: can't remember / Bracelets: Charming Charlie
I spend most of church trying to wrangle my 15 month old so comfort is #1 when I select my outfit for the day. Usually my hair is pulled up tight on top of my head cause with 9 am church there is no time for anything else. The night before I had done my hair so I was able to manage to make my hair look presentable down. It was funny how many "wow your hair is so long" and "when did you go light" comments I got.
Earrings: Old Navy / Lipstick: MAC Impassion
I can't say enough about this shade of pink! I love it so much. I only own 2 lipsticks: Red and this shade of pink. It's really all you need.
Click the photo to find it on Amazon. It looks more rose in this image, but it's really a bright pink.
So how do you feel about the neon trend? Are you for or against?
