The Ultimate Beach Vacation Packing Guide
Packing for a Beach Vacation can seem overwhelming and almost take the joy out of the vacation before you even leave! Thankfully I've done more than my fair share of traveling and am happy to share my ultimate beach vacation packing guide with you!

Shorts and tanks are awesome for vacation because they are comfortable and it's so easy to look put together at the same time. You want to be sure to look for loose-fitting shorts that fit well and are comfortable. Tanks that don't wrinkle are a plus so you don't need to worry about ironing when you're on vacation! Breathability in both tanks and shorts will help keep you comfortable!

Shopping for swimsuits isn't always fun but it doesn't have to be a drag! Finding a couple of swimsuits that you feel really great in can help your vacation be the best it can be! The best part is that they don't have to be expensive to make you feel great!! I love to mix and match high-waisted bottoms with bikini tops. They are flattering and very trendy. The best part is that you can pack as many as you want because they don't take up space! Things to look for in a good bathing suit is something that will stay in place and help you feel really good about yourself.

I love a good maxi dress and a beach vacation is the perfect place to rock one! They are comfortable, flattering, and incredibly versatile. With your maxi you need to look for the right length for the shoes you'll be wearing, style, and function! Pick fabrics that will fold well and won't get too wrinkly in your suitcase.

Shoes might be optional on a beach vacation but you'll definitely want a few cute pairs for the boardwalk, poolside, and date nights! I always like to pack a pair of flats (or 3!) and a pair of wedges. Flats don't have to be cheap flip flops for the sand - a cute pair of sandals transition perfectly from the hotel lobby to the sand! Here are my favorite ultimate beach vacation shoes!

Sundresses are the most versatile item to pack for your ultimate beach vacation! Toss a sundress over your swimsuit for an easy coverup, pair it with some wedges for a date lunch, or add tennies for a walk by the beach. What you want to look for in a sundress is pretty details like lace, buttons, or cute straps. A good hemline is important too. While it doesn't matter how short your coverup is, you might be more comfortable with a longer hem if you are headed to a meal. I love sundresses and these are some of my absolute favorites!
