Style | Stop It You're Amazing Tee
Jen and I both love Cents of Style and further more, we are pretty much the President of "The We Heart Courtney" Fan club. Cents of Style founder Courtney Brown spoke at Elevate this past year and had us all in tears. Her message of self acceptance and love was what we all needed to hear. When the opportunity to collaborate with Courtney on a shirt for her site came up, Jen and I thought long an hard about what we wanted to say.
You've probably heard the phrase "comparison is the thief of joy", I'm sure you have it pinned to your Pinterest quotes board. We all know it's true, but our subconscious has yet to get the memo. As women it's so hard to see all the talents and accomplishments we demonstrate on the daily, it's almost impossible to give ourselves a pat on the back for all the awesomeness we created. Instead we harp on the short comings.

Have you ever listened to your friend talk about all the things they with they were good at or things about their looks that they wish they could change? Don't you just want to shake them and say "Stop it!!! You're Amazing!"? Cause chances are that they are amazing, way more amazing than they are willing to give themselves credit for. That is why we created this shirt for Cents of Style. It's our way of reminding all you women and ourselves to stop the self deprecation and indulge in a little self appreciation.
Let's even take it one step farther...let's stop our friends when they step into the dark side. Don't let them tell lies, set them straight on the truth. We are all amazing. It could be sewing, cleaning, organizing, make up, keeping your patience, playing a sport or an instrument or just being a great friend. There is something that makes each of us special so let's help those around us to be able to recognize those qualities a little easier.
These tees will make amazing Christmas gifts and even better "new mama" gifts. Remember those first days home from the hospital when you are trying to figure out how to keep this new little human alive and happy? How nice would it have been to have a reminder of how amazing you were? They are on sale so snag a couple and spread a little love to those you love.
