Style | Shirt Dress, Leather Jacket and 3 Reasons to Come to Elevate Conference
One thing I love about cooler weather is that it's so easy to find something that is comfortable. Soft knit sweaters, relaxed jogger pants and loose fitting shift dresses are on daily rotation. I'll get back to that in a bit. But first ...
Another thing I love is that planning for Elevate Conference is in major ramp up. This conference is such a labor of love for Jen & I and so much thought is put into every detail. For those of you who have not attended before, I thought I'd put together the Top 5 reasons to attend this year.
1. BUILD REAL CONNECTIONS
Our main goal in creating this conference was to facilitate real connections. We wanted to create a community of bloggers, shop owners and brand who build lifelong partnerships and friendships. We do this by limiting the number of attendees to just 75 and provide structured opportunities to network with everyone. Because of this, you don't have to fear attending alone. Another great benefit to the small number is that you have time to get to know our speakers and sponsors. They are excited to meet you so don't be shy!
2. THE VENUE
Elevate is held at the Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort in Newport Beach, Ca. I mean can you get any better than the beach in May?! We spend part of the day inside a beautiful meeting room that opens up to the sandy beach and enjoy meals & workshops on the lawn.
3. THE FOOD
Included in your ticket is lunch, dinner, snacks and desserts. Eating is one of our favorite things to do. It's basically my number one priority when I visit Jen in Utah. In the past we have had Cafe Rio, Stonefire Grill, BJ's Pizza, Sprinkles Cupcakes, Nothing Bundt Cake and more. Our goal is to keep your hearts full and your tummy happy.
I could keep going on and on, but what more could you want?! Good friends, great food and a gorgeous location to enjoy it all in. Click here for more information on the Conference and to purchase tickets. Don't take our word for the awesomeness... see what Ashley from Little Miss Momma, Julie Ann from Julie Ann Art or Ashley from Lil Blue Boo had to say.
Now back to your regularly schedule programing...
I couple months ago I went shopping with a girl friend to help her find something for her family photos and we picked this jacket (similar here) out for her. I fell in love, but figured I could just borrow it from her if I really wanted to wear it. That didn't last long because not a week later I found myself at the mall grabbing one for myself.

We hope you'll come hang with Jen and I at Elevate this year...we promise you'll only regret it if you miss it.
