Style | Pink Flamingo Casual
Last season it was the pineapple and this season it's the flamingo apparently. I've seen them everywhere, everywhere! Target, etsy, the top of my Instagram feed every. single. time. I open it up. I had no choice, but to jump on the bandwagon and snatch up this mint flamingo button down when it jumped into my cart at Target. Does that ever happen to anyone else? It's like they have a mind of their own. Anyways, I bought it, I love it and I'm riding the pink flamingo wave for as long as the style Gods decide it will roll.
Shirt & Purse: Target | Jeans: TJ Maxx | Shoes: Toms
Bracelet & Earrings: Charming Charlie
This is my very favorite necklace from Metal Marvels!
Who doesn't love a good pair of Toms?! They are so comfortable and I love that I can run around with the kids and still be comfortable without having to wear athletic shoes. I've worn these for a day at Disneyland and my feet still feel great after returning back to the car from a long day of fun.
You know the feeling when you find the perfect pair of white jeans? Yeah, well I've had that feeling twice if you can believe it! I have my dressy white jeans and then struck gold again with these casual ones. They have a little bit of stretch and some distressing so they are so easy to wear all day through all of my activities. I would seriously wear them everyday if that would be social acceptable.
And..... just because you can't pass up an opportunity for a public service announcement: make sure you wear your life jacket while enjoying your water activities! P.S. life preservers make excellent fly swatters if you ever get attacked by a swarm of May Flies. You're welcome!
I've also got a little flamingo inspired announcement! In the past couple months I've been really inspired to make a shift from handmade business to coaching and consulting. I feel like as life changes, so do my passions and it's important to follow those. I remember starting my blog and shop and having no one to really turn to for guidance on where to start. I read and searched and tried and failed over and over till I finally got it right. I don't want others to have to go through all that trial and error to make a go of their dreams. It should be easy, so guess what?! I've made it easy. I recently launched Pink Flamingo PR, an agency devoted to helping bloggers and small business owners get a jump start on their blog or business through educational ebooks and services. If you have ever wanted to start a blog or have been too scared to jump into business stop by Pink Flamingo and see all the ways I can make it a piece of cake!
