Spring Style | Jewel Tones
My usual Spring Style consists of chucks, torn jeans and a relaxed t-shirt, but it's fun to get to dress like a grown up every once in awhile. When you are running around after the kids all day there isn't much need to heels and fancy jackets so I felt a little out of my element when I went shopping to update my closet with a little more sophistication for Spring. Green and Navy aren't colors I really put together, but since jewel tones are a big trend this year it made it easy to put some fun combos together.
My girlfriend Jen from Through the Make Up Mirror styled my hair and make up for this shoot. We've been friends since high school so it's fun to be able to work together doing something we love over 10 years later. She is amazingly talented, works on one of the Real House Wives and keeps me laughing the entire time we are together. She is the one who introduced me to Frankie Rose Cosmetics which she used on me in this shoot. If you are looking for someone to work with for hair and make up this chick is your girl! Follow her on instagram @throughthemakeupmirror.
These images are all courtesy of Channell from Love Photography here in Orange County. She shoots the most darling family photos and was so great to work with. I just had to show her a couple inspiration photos and she got my vision for our shoot right away. If you need family photos or something for your blog you need to reach out to her! She is @lovephoto_channell on instagram.
