Nilla Wafer Clam Cookies Tutorial
A couple months ago I threw Kennedy a Mermaid Birthday Party which was a huge hit. She talked about her Mermaid Birthday Party for months leading up to the big day and was on cloud nine when she saw the entire set up. Then Ariel made her big appearance and no one else existed. It was so magical to see how happy she was the entire day. Just like when Dylan saw his Ghostbuster Party for the first time, it made all the hours of prep totally worth it. I outsourced a lot of items and tasks for her party, but one of the things I did make on my own were these darling Clam Cookies.
They are so easy to put together and don't require any baking or mixing at all. All you need are Mini Nilla Wafers, 1 can of Strawberry Frosting & Candy Eyeballs.
Using a spiral tip, pipe a small amount of frosting onto the flat side of one of the wafers. I have this Accent Decorator from Pampered Chef and it is so perfect for tasks like this!
Place two little candy eyes at the front of the frosting.
Cover the top with another Nilla Wafer and you are all set! Seriously so easy right?!
I crushed up some graham crackers and added a little brown sugar to make sand then placed the little guys on top. I placed pearl white candies in some of them to make oysters.
