Maternity Style and Gender Reveal Printables

Little Miss Kennie's 2nd birthday is right around the corner and I can't help, but think about fast time has flown since we took these photos.  I originally posted them on the MBMM blog so I thought I'd share them here if anyone is looking for maternity shoot ideas.  I just love how they turned out: the bright colors, my dad's vintage pick up, the rainbow sandals...unmistakably Californian.  If you are looking for some fun gender reveal printables, I included those at the end too.

Photos by the oh so talented Winter’s Wonderland Photography.  Let me just gush for a moment about how amazing she is!  She offers mini sessions all over Riverside and Orange County and they range from $60-$80 per session… here is the kicker: for that steal of a price she even gives you a digital copy of ALL your photos!  My favorite thing about working with Winter is how incredibly patient she is with my boys.  Even when Lennie and I were ready to throw in the family photo towel she was still insistent about providing dog and cat noises to try and get that perfect shot!

I designed this pennant banner real quick on Silhouette then printed, cut and glued it to some twine.

Since this is sure to be my last maternity shot (3 babies will complete our full house) I wanted it to be special, I wanted to feel beautiful to spite the extra pregnancy pounds.  I called up Jennifer from Through the Makeup Mirror and she was gracious enough to do my hair and makeup.  She was amazing and I felt so good about myself, it was just the pick me up I needed to feel confident while shooting.  Might I suggest you follow her on instagram!  She works behind the scenes on tons of fashion shoots and posts lots of fun photos that you can gain inspiration from.  Also, if you are in southern California you can contact her for your very own mama make over!

I may be a little biased, but is this not the cutest face ever?!  He turns 4 this Friday!  Winter captured his personality to perfectly.  He is just the happiest little guy all the time and loves life.  I wish some of his energy and excitement would rub off on me sometimes.  Gavin had just woken up from a nap so he wasn’t feeling very photo-shootie, which actually captures his personality pretty accurately as well.

I truly believe that every pregnant mama needs to own this Printed Palette dress!  Not only does it feel like you are wearing your PJs around and it’s totally acceptable, but how perfect is the saying?!  “One Wild and Precious Life”

We did a little gender reveal party to tell everyone we were having a girls so I created these party printables.  I thought that I would share them with you all in case you should need them sometime in the future.  Just click the photo to download.  You can use any editing program to add your info to the invite at the bottom.  I like picmonkey.com but you could even use microsoft publisher!  Enjoy.

Invitation: Add your party details at the bottom and print size 4×6
