Home Decor | No Sew Placemat Pillow
This post originally shared on Capturing-joy.com
Can you believe that Christmas is just days away?! I'm slightly in denial and still getting things squared away for the big day. This is the first time I will be hosting Christmas dinner at our home so I'm trying to top off my décor to make the day extra special. That's why I'm so excited to share this amazingly easy pillow case tutorial with you guys today! It seriously took me 5 minutes to complete and I love how it brings a Christmas twist into my holiday décor without screaming North Pole!!!! These are great last minute gifts or items to add to your existing décor.
Things you will need:
Double layer placemat ( you should be able to pull the front and back apart so the pillow can go in) | 10x10 pillow form | scissors | permanent adhesive tape (from the craft section )
Cut off the edge of one side of your placemat and insert pillow
Fold the edges in and tuck under the pillow
Cut a piece of adhesive tape the length of your opening and press it firmly onto one of the sides. Peel the tape off and press the sides together to close. Throw it on your couch and you are done!
