Crocheted Lace Headband Tutorial
Just like every other red blooded American female I get sucked into the Target dollar bins every single time. Before I know it, I've racked up a pretty impressive dollar bin tab. Surprises me every time. I should just see it coming by now, but no...$1 here $3 there and bam! Last night I spotted some beautiful crocheted lace and whipped up a couple headbands for Kennie. She is finally over the stage where she refuses to wear them and has grown out of all her baby ones, so this comes at the perfect time.
Very boho, don't ya think?
Supplies: crocheted lace, elastic, glue gun, glue & scissors
Measure your little ones head and divide that in half. Cut 1 piece of lace & elastic using the halved measurement. Cut 2 small pieces about 2-3 inches long.
Glue the ends of the lace and elastic together to make a full circle.
Wrap the smaller pieces of lace around where your lace and elastic meet. On the "inside" of the headband fold the end piece under then glue so you have a finished edge that won't fray.
Just like that, you are all done!
Place headband on your little one's head and try to snap a picture that is in focus. If your little girl is like my Kennie, they will be so excited about their new headband you won't be able to get them to sit still. Sign of success if you ask me!
