Where are my Whole30 friends at?!? Who started the new year with the commitment to eat better and cut out the junk?? I have a love/hate relationship with whole30 and if you’ve ever done it, I am sure you know why!!
New to whole30 and wondering what I’m talking about? Here’s the short version – spend 30 days eating whole foods and then take time reintroducing these foods over several weeks to evaluate how you feel. It’s an elimination diet of sorts. You can eat meat, nuts, fruit, veggies, and fats. You cannot eat sugar, legumes, dairy, grains. or anything processed. Coffee is okay, but it must be black. As you can imagine, this takes a great deal of planning. While at first it may seem like food will be bland and underwhelming, that’s completely false. The food can be amazing!
Here are some of my all-time favorite whole30 recipes!
You won’t feel like you’re missing anything at all with this beef and broccoli recipe. It’s the coconut aminos that make this recipe really work. If you’ve never used coconut aminos before, you’re missing out – it’s the whole30 version of soy sauce!
I recently learned to love coconut curry! These coconut curry meatballs are filling and delicious!
Because whole30 eliminates dairy, getting something creamy is challenging. But this creamy bacon recipe is SO good and really tastes creamy!
Packed with veggies, this whole30 fried rice recipe actually has no rice which means you can eat as much of it as you’d like! I can definitely tell the difference between cauliflower and rice, but it’s still very good!
There aren’t a whole lot of healthy recipes that my kids LOVE… but these whole30 chicken nuggets are ah-mazing!! Trust me. Your kids will never know they aren’t dino nuggets!
The coconut milk creaminess and the sun dried tomatoes in this dish are incredible. You make this for company and no one will know it’s whole30!
I’m not going to lie. I serve these to my kids and tell them they are just regular meatballs. They have no idea these meatballs are packed with veggies!! They are delicious!
So much of healthy eating is prep work. This recipe for slow cooker tomato balsamic chicken is awesome because you can toss everything the crockpot for a delicious, healthy, and EASY meal!
Looking for a healthy and delicious lunch option? Something that you look forward to eating? Chicken salad boats are perfect and you won’t feel like you’re missing anything!
Whole30 breakfasts are my FAVORITE and this one is delicious! It definitely takes more planning and takes more time than grabbing a granola bar or banana, but it’s SO worth it! This potato avocado toast recipe is soooo good!!
This hearty breakfast hash is a delicious protein-packed meal perfect for all times of day!
