Summertime is my favorite time of year when it comes to making memories, but when you prefer to dress modestly it can be a little miserable. It’s near impossible to find a good pair of knee length shorts that doesn’t make you look like a grandma and you can only wear so many tee shirts. I’ve found that the solution to staying modest, looking fashionable and keeping cool is a great dress and lucky for everyone, Shabby Apple literally has hundreds that fit this bill.
I am so in love with the Alexia dress from Shabby Apple! It’s super soft and the material is nice and thin. I paired it with some wedges here, but I am usually running around in Converse with a chambray tied around my waist. I love that you can dress it up or down so it really is an everyday dress.
One of my very favorite places to shot for jewelry is the clearance section of Charming Charlie. They have tons of great stuff for just a couple dollars. My kids are always playing with my jewelry so I can’t afford to spend a ton on things. Someday I can have really nice things again right???
Major shout out to our girl Jen from Classy Cosmetics for working her make up magic once again. She really is just so talented and honestly so much fun to hang out with. We worked with Becky Kimball Photography for this shoot and she was super sweet and patient with us and our 2o something outfit changes. If you are in Utah and looking for make up or photography these gems are awesome!
Head over to the Shabby Apple website and browse all their fab dresses, fair warning that you may be there for awhile because every singe dress is seriously gorgeous.
