I’m part of a Dinner Party group with some girl friends from church and I lucked into getting to host our Halloween dinner this past week. One of the girls got sick so I was able to step in and help my friend Shari put together this spooky dinner that was not only presented beautifully, but tasted amazing! My major contribution was these cute jars of Caramel Apple Sauce, I included the free printable tag at the bottom of this post. This is amazing on top of ice cream, to dip apples in or just eat by the spoonful.
I can’t really take credit for the set up, Shari did most of the work. Don’t you think she did an amazing job? I just loved how it was simple and sophisticated. Our theme was witches and everyone even came dressed up.
We placed fun Halloween questions in this skull and passed it around to spark some fun conversations about past Halloweens and our traumatic childhood costumes. Anyone else wear one of those vinyl jump suits with the plastic mask? No? Just me as a scary plastic Care Bear?
The food was to die for! (see what I did there lol)
It got dark early so I wasn’t able to get a shot with the Butterscotch Beer (like cream soda, but waaaay better) in the cauldron and the appetizers on the platters, but you get the idea right?!
Anyone else have this pumpkin from the Target Dollar spot? They killed it this year with Halloween decor!
I whipped up these mini mason jars filled with Salted Caramel Sauce as party favors and they were a big hit! I used the caramel sauce from this recipe which is super easy and really delicious. I used washi tape to decorate the flat jar insert and tied the “Poison Apple Venom” tag around with baker’s twine and they were all set for the table.
