Cookies are the way to anyone’s heart. I was teaching a lesson in Church a couple weeks ago and my Dad always taught me that if you want to keep your class engaged, treats are the easiest way to go. I’m sure good content is up there in the top 3 or so lol. I love baking cookies and the kids love licking the bowl so it’s really a win-win.
Jen has the very best chocolate chip cookie recipe that has just the right about of sweet and salty flavors. I like to take her basic recipe and fool around with it from time to time so I took a bunch of things from the pantry and got creative. I figured cranberries, white chocolate, coconut and almond would work well together and from the feedback I got at church I would say I was right. My girlfriend lovingly referred to them as “Crack Cookies” because she couldn’t stop thinking about them after she got home. I thought it was a perfect name since you won’t be able to stop eating them.
