2017 is in full swing and suddenly we’ve found ourselves in February! How did that happen? Why is it that time went by so slowly as a kid, but as an adult you find yourself grasping at time as it slips through your fingers like tiny grains of sand? Since the holidays are officially over (insert crying face emoji) I suppose it’s time to get back on track with our lifestyle. I try to “Just Say No” to sweet treats, desserts and ice cream, but I find myself saying “I just can’t quit you!”. Instead of depriving myself of the treats I so desperately need in my life, I’ve tried swapping them out for something that hits the spot without killing my goals. This Dulce De Leche Almond Milk Ice Cream recipe does just that!
I am sharing this amazing Dulce De Leche Almond Milk Ice Cream recipe with you because it’s really just too good to keep to myself. Because it’s non dairy, you can enjoy it guilt free anytime you need a cool treat.
I love that this recipe is made from items you probably already have in your fridge! Silk Milk is the perfect everyday dairy free milk option and Silk Creamer is the perfect dairy free creamer for using in yummy drinks and recipes.
This recipe calls for Mexican Vanilla because it’s seriously the BEST! My husband and I took a trip to Mexico last Summer and I had to make sure to grab several bottles of authentic Mexican Vanilla. There is nothing like it! The vanilla flavor is so intense, it elevates any recipe you add it to. We even grabbed extra bottles to give as gifts to those who watched the kids for us. I used Silk Caramel Almond Creamer for the Dulce Del Leche flavor in this recipe. It give the Almond Milk Ice Cream a subtle flavor reminiscent of authentic Dulce De Leche. There is nothing better!
